Arsyad is a social worker at Ademos, a civil society organization based in Bojonegoro district, in the East Java province, Indonesia. A district that is blessed with the abundant oil and gas of Cepu Block. Although his formal position in the organization is a secretary, Arsyad also works to implement projects in his organization. This include the task to build a team of program implementers, assisting them in carrying out their duties, and overseeing and monitoring Ademos’ program beneficiaries. Additionally, Arsyad responsible for organizational administration, design of community development programs, and assisting the head of Ademos in establishing communication and relationships with partners.

Asri Nuraeni

Asri is working as the Communication Officer and assisting project implementation at Publish What You Pay (PWYP) Indonesia. As the communication officer, she is responsible for communication and outreach toward PWYP Indonesia’s audiences. Asri participated in EITI multi-stakeholder meeting, learning the process and giving some inputs if needed. Besides that, she participated in a research on “Problem Mapping of Gas Governance Along the Extractive Value Chain in Indonesia. On top of that, she also assume the role of program assistant for Reversing the Resource Curse, which focuses on increasing transparency and accountability in Extractive Industry and state revenue management for poverty alleviation.

Aung Phyoe Kyaw

Aung Phyoe Kyaw graduated from Pyay University with a Major Subject in History in 2005. He established a Civil Society Organization in 2014 called "Myat Won Thit Knowledge Society". After a while, he joined MATA for its Natural Resources Governance programme. Myat Won Thit knowledge society has become part of the MATA network Since 2014.  In 2016, he was elected as Steering Committee Member in MATA by local CSOs. At the moment, he is actively involve in Multi-Stakeholders Group as an alternative MSG member of Civil Society Organization.

Aye Kyithar Swe

Aye Kyithar Swe is the Myanmar Senior Officer of NRGI. She advances the country strategy and oversees its implementation. Within the team, she leads NRGI’s work on beneficial ownership, contract transparency and open data. Her recent projects with NRGI Myanmar includes presenting NRGI’s use of open data to advocate extractive sector policy reforms in Asia at the 2017 Civic Tech Festival in Taipei, coordinating technical assistance for the management information system of the state-owned enterprise Myanmar Gems Enterprise, drafting actionable policy briefers for the Union Minister of Natural Resources and Environmental Conservation and providing capacity-building trainings for the leaders of the civil society in Myanmar.

Chaw Su Khine

Chaw Su Khine is an assistant director in State Economic Enterprises Budget section of Budget Department under the Ministry of Planning and Finance. She has been working in this section since 2011. She is responsible for analysing, scrutinizing, evaluating and reporting the financial status of Myanma Timber Enterprise under the Ministry of Forest and  four State Economic Enterprises under the Ministry of Mines. At 2016, these two ministry were merged as the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environmental Conservation. In her current position, she has a significant responsibilities for extractive industries policy-making which includes forestry and mineral sectors.

Collen Maria King

Colleen spent four years as a political appointee in the Obama administration, both at the White House, as assistant director for operations in the Office of Cabinet Affairs, and at the U.S. Mission to the UN, where she was an aide to the U.S. Ambassador. She also served on a U.S. Department of Justice program for first responders and others who were sickened by their exposure to debris in the aftermath of the September 11th attacks. Colleen studied political science and poverty at the University of Notre Dame.

Datu Abdelwin A. Sangkula

As the Acting Director, he is mandated to recommend the issuance or denial of permits/clearances (e.g. Ore Transport Permit) related to utilization of both metallic and non-metallic minerals within the region and issue specific memorandum for the compliance of companies engaged in mineral utilization.

She is a seasoned community development practitioner who tries to increase the impact of local government’s programme to the life of local people who are still heavily dependent to artisanal mining activities.

Hnin Wai Aung

Hnin Way Aung joined the Myanmar EITI Secretariat Office as an assistant director in 2015. Her duties include coordinating the EITI process, cooperating with government entities to provide data for Independent Administrator for EITI report, coordinating with Auditor General Office to get verification on EITI data, following up the responses of government agencies to the recommendations of the previous EITI report, and making sure the progress and active participation of government agencies in EITI process. She also supports the MSG chair who is the deputy minister for Ministry of Planning and Finance.

Kanti is an associate researcher in Article 33 Indonesia, a non-government organization based in Jakarta. She studied materials science and engineering at Kyoto University, but also exposed to climate change issues during college. She previously worked as program officer at the Habibie Center, supporting research on democratization, local autonomy, dissemination of technology, and media literacy campaign. Since joining A33, she assisted a scoping study on including forestry sector revenues in the EITI–Indonesia system. Then she conducted a series of research on extractive industries revenue administration and transparency, royalties and divestment policy, coal trade value chain. Her publication with other researchers includes the book entitle “Mine, Forest, and Plantation: Governance of Licensing and State Revenue in Land-Based Sectors”.

Khin Nyein Thu

Ms. Sakamorsnguan holds a doctoral degree from a reputable university in Germany and she participates in teaching activities from time to time. The topic of her lectures included environmental issues in mining, corporate social responsibility, and sustainability in mining.

Lengga Pradipta

Lucila Cruz Gabriel

Lucila C. Gabriel is a Supervising Legislative Staff Officer in the Committee on Natural Resources in the House of Representatives. She obtained her undergraduate degree in Journalism from the University of the Philippines in 2002. Prior to her current position, Ms. Gabriel served as legislative staff officer in Congress and as Corporate Communications Officer in the National Power Corporation. As part of the permanent Secretariat staff, Ms. Gabriel is responsible for conducting in-depth research in order to effectively provide technical assistance to lawmakers in enacting legislative proposals. In 2015, Ms. Gabriel obtained her Master’s degree in International Studies from Kobe University in Kobe City, Japan. The focus of her research then was on migration, gender, and NGO-government relationships.
