Cao Hong works with a local government officer of Province of Hagiang province, Vietnam. He has been appointed by Hagiang Provincial People’s Committee as a Chairman for Union of Science and Technology Associations of Hagiang province, Vietnam. His responsibility is implementing reviewer resource extraction policies and advocacy as well as providing information to help local government to apply policy reforms for resource extraction. He holds Master degree of Natural Resources and Environment Management from Hanoi University of Agriculture. He has experienced in number of international forum and training course such as Mongolian-German G7 Fast Tract Partnership workshop on the EITI in Thailand, and training for rice cultivation at Ishikawa Agricultural Research Center, Japan.

Duong Van Tho

Tho serves as the Communication Officer of PanNature for five years. He takes major responsibilities on writing journal reports and developing an environmental journalism network, particularly on biodiversity issues. In the following years, he joined the Vietnam Mining Coalition on advocacy for EITI in 2014 assigned as the Communication Officer. His major responsibilities in this section are developing journalism network on mining issues to enhance advocacy for EITI. Prior to this assignment, he was a reporter worked for Bac Ninh Newspaper and an editor for Nha Nam Book and JSC. He holds degree from National University of Hanoi and qualifications from short-term trainings on media, ITs, and English.

Nguyen Duc Anh

Mr. NGUYEN Duc Anh is currently working for the People and Nature Reconciliation (PanNature) in Vietnam as a policy analyst. He is focusing on the policies on extractive industries and bioconservation in Vietnam.
Previously, he worked on hydropower issue and have done several studies on hydropower issue, such as resettlement, decision-making process.

Nguyen Ngoc Quang

Nguyen Ngoc Quang works for Vietnam Mining Coalition (VCM) as the national coordinator with a responsibility to promote, impelement and monitor all activities of the coalition activities. This includes organizing policy dialogue and workshops related to thematic topic and research, cooperation and collaboration with Vietnam government agencies in extractive industries, natural/environmental taxation, and so on. He is also in charge of the PanNature and VCN's advocacy to policy makers, decision-makers and communities. Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Quang is an experienced professional in civil society movement and advocacy as he has a long standing contribution to improve in the natural resources governance in Vietnam.

Nguyen Thi Hoai Nga

Nguyen is a lecturer at the Mining management Department. She also serves as the vice head of the department. Besides, she is registered as a member of associations, such as Vietnam Association of Economic Geology, Society of Mining Professors, International Social Security Association - ISSA Mining, and Vietnam Mining Science and Technology. She holds doctor degree of engineering from RWTH Aachen, Germany and Master of Mining Management from HUMG, Vietnam. She has written number of journal publications and books. She has expertise on mining industries, including management, mineral economic, sustainable development, and risk management.

Pham Kien Trung

Mr. Pham Kien Trung is a lecturer at Hanoi University of Mining and Geology (HUMG) with 7-year working experience. In recent years, he concentrated on the Environmental Management field, specifically Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA), Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), and published several papers at International Scientific Conferences and Scientific Journals. He attended short courses about Risk Management, Quality Management (University of Applied Sciences Georg Agricola in Bochum), Green Growth (USAID, UNDP). After his research in Chiang Mai University, he focused on a comparative study on EIA, CSR between Thailand, Myanmar and Vietnam. He received an award from the Rector of HUMG and Dean for his excellent lecturer and research.

Tran Thi Thanh Hai
