Leticia Montoya

Ya’kub is PhD (Candidate) in Anglia Ruskin University, United Kingdom in the major study of International Law of Resource Nationalism. He is a lecture in International Law at Faculty of Law Syiah Kuala University-Aceh. He has been working on humanitarian issues post tsunami 2004 in Aceh, then teaching international law and conducting research on natural resources governance in relation to laws and policies in Indonesia for the last four years. He is enthusiast in the recent development issues on sharing power between central and Aceh Government in upstream oil and gas (Badan Pengelola Migas Aceh/BPMA) under UUPA 11/2006; thereby this issue encouraged him to found the research center of natural resources in Syiah Kuala University.

Naing Lin Htut

Naing Lin is founder of the Pyoe Khin Thit Foundation, a member of multi-stakeholder groups of Myanmar Alliance for Transparency and Accountability (MATA). In this network coalition, he also contributes as a member of Steering Committee for Ayarwaddy region and serves as the focal person for civil society engagement. He is interested in cultivating knowledge and negotiation process to reform policy on resource governance in order to advocate the community. He was graduated from Yangon Western University with bachelor degree in chemistry in 2009.

Nguyen Thi Hoai Nga

She holds doctor degree of engineering from RWTH Aachen, Germany and Master of Mining Management from HUMG, Vietnam. She has written number of journal publications and books. She has expertise on mining industries, including management, mineral economic, sustainable development, and risk management.

Nitish Arora

Nitish is an economist working as a researcher on the issues related to trade, natural resources, resource efficiency, geopolitics and sustainable development. In related to extractive sector, he is suggesting a framework for mineral revenue management, carrying out policy analysis at different lifecycle stages of mining starting from exploration, processing of minerals and mine closure. He assists the Indian Resource Panel to address the gaps that hinder the performance of extractive sector in India. Moreover he has been asked to prepare a roadmap for Afghanistan and Myanmar for managing their extractive sector as part of the activity with DFID.  He also looks at the effect of trade restriction on the mineral sector.

Nurwachid Putrayana

Nurwachid is a staff at the Coordinating Ministry for Economic Affairs. He has the tasks to collect data for policy making in mineral and coal sectors. His responsibilities are analyzing and presenting the data as well as writing a report for the minister. A part of his assignment, he supports the Indonesia EITI Secretariat in preparing the annual report and instrumental in compiling Roadmap of Beneficial Ownerships. He has graduated from Geological Engineering in Universitas Gadjah Mada. He joined the ministry in 2014 and serves as the officer at the energy and mineral resources sectors. He has taken apart in ”7th EITI Global Conference” in Peru and “2016 OGP Asia Pacific Regional Dialogue” in the Philippines.  

Raras Cahyafitri

Solongo Otgonbayar

Prior to this assignment, she served as a finance officer at Yangon Electricity Supply Board, Ministry of Electric Power from December 2010 to January 2016. She holds master degree from Meiktila University of Economics.

War War Tun

She is responsible to analyze the development of public sector and submit policy recommendations to the authorities. She conducts regular review of impacts on budget implementation of public sector by analyzing financial flows between agencies and government in connection with financial program and macroeconomic policies. In regarding the resources management, she has duty to analyze State Economic Enterprises concerned with the natural resources sectors budget data and their performances as well as evaluate of oil and gas sector reform.

Ye Lin Myint

Ye Lin serves as the national coordinator of MATA office which a part of Myanmar EITI process. He has been working for Civil Society Organizations, INGOs and NGOs continuously for more than 16 years and involving in EITI process since 2012. For years, he was active in Paung Ku, a civil society strengthening initiative established in 2007 by consortium of international and local agencies in Myanmar. Prior to this position, he served as the community project assistant at IOM and peer team leader at MSF Switzerland Dawei.
