Mi Mi Tin Ngwe works at Design and Monitoring Directorate (DMD) that is responsible to design and monitor all aspects of at Internal Revenue Department (IRD)’s tax administration as well as concerning the services to make it easy for taxpayers. Prior to her role at DMD, she served as an Assistant Manager in Myanma Investment and Commercial Bank for five years. She holds Bachelor of Economic from Yangon University of Economics.

She concerns on Tax Structure reform and keen to improve knowledge and technical skills in natural resource revenue sharing.

Moe Moe Tun serves as a volunteer for environmental protections. Presently, she works with MATA since 2013. MATA is a coalition of CSOs that supports short and long-term projects in countries and support extractive industry and environmental issues. Some of her main task are developing and managing programs to combat emergency issues of natural resources as well as coordinating activities with other funding agencies, development programs, and local counterparts. She plays active role as MSG member of EITI committee nationwide. She holds master of zoology from Yangon University (1997).

Nan Hla Hla Min works at the Budget Department under the Ministry of Finance and Revenue since 1999. She has posted at the public sector budget section that the main duty is for preparation and formulation of the State Budget and financial monitoring of Spending Agencies. The Budget Department is also responsible for the fiscal policy on behalf of the Ministry. At present, she is working at the Fiscal Policy, Strategy and EITI division of Budget Department (Head Office).

She obtained Bachelor of Science (1999) and diploma in Economics Studies from the Institute of Economic in Yangon (2005). She also holds Master Degree for Master of Public Policy (Macroeconomic Program) from National Graduate Institute for Policy Studies (GRIPS) Japan (2013).

Nay Htoon serves as the Deputy Assistant Director at Myanmar Gems Enterprise under the jurisdiction of the Ministry of Mines. Upholding the objectives laid down by the Ministry of Mines, he is mainly responsible for Environmental and Social Impacts Assessment (ESIA) works to identify and analyze physical environment and social, cultural and health impacts in the surrounding area of mine sites and raising Environmental Awareness to local community, mine workers and entrepreneurs.

He holds Master of Engineering Physics from University of Yangon (2009) and Diploma in Business Law from University of Mandalay (2012).

Saw Paul Sein Twa is the executive director and co‐founder of the Karen Environmental and Social Action Network (KESAN), a community‐based grassroots organization working alongside Indigenous Karen communities in Burma. Paul has been working on social and environmental issues in Burma’s conflict areas since 1996. Since KESAN’s founding in 2001, he has built it into a widely‐respected organization collaborating closely with local communities to deliver practical, substantive and empowering community development solutions to large numbers of people in remote areas affected by one of the world’s longest‐running conflicts. As the leading spokesperson for KESAN and several networks of border‐based organizations including Karen Rivers Watch (KRW), Burma Environmental Working Group (BEWG) and Karen Peace Support Network (KPSN),

Paul advocates for sustainable socioeconomic development solutions. Under Paul’s direction, KESAN has become an effective force working to improve governance of Burma’s lands, waters, forests, and natural resources, while promoting community‐determined development in the context of ethnic peoples’ vision of durable peace and genuine well‐being.

Thomas Rapak works at JPIC SVD Ruteng since 2013. SVD JPIC is an integral part of the mission of universal Society Verbi Divine (SVD).  JPIC is a commission to coordinate and carry out the mission of the SVD, such as policy in the field of Environment, Forestry and Mining; education and training Law and human right; as well as economic empowerment and social development.

Prior to his role at JPIC, Thomas served as a teacher at SMAK Syuradikara Ende (2007-2008). He worked also as a Pastoral agent in the catholic church, parish of St. Arnold Janssen Tambolaka, Sumba and worked in cooperation of Lembu Nai Manggarai (2012-2013).

Thomas graduated from catholic Institute of Philosophy Ledalero, Maumere (2007) and holds Master of Theology from the same Institute (2011). He concerns on social and cultural problem as well as environmental problem, markedly ecological crisis due to human life style. He actively involves in campaign to save the environment. He believes that save our live will save the world.

Tommy Apriando works as journalist in the online media Mongabay Indonesia for three years. He concerns on environmental issue. He has written many articles to show the excessive social and environmental impacts of mining to the local people. He also serves as a volunteer at The Commission for “the Disappeared” and Victims of Violence (Kontras) in Jakarta.

Prior to joining Natural Resource Governance Institute, Wissem Heni worked in a number of relevant departments within the Tunisian government, namely the ministry of interior and the prime ministry office. Most notably, he was part of the Hydrocarbon and the Mining Advisory Commissions, which provide consultation and technical advice to the Ministry of Industry prior to signing licenses with international oil companies. As deputy director of Legal Assistance Services within the prime ministry office focused on extractives, he put to use his extensive knowledge of the sector to monitor the legality of hydrocarbon and mining permits and licenses. Besides having built strong relations with key actors in the hydrocarbon sector, he   worked closely with the Ministry of Industry on the interpretation of Article 13 of the constitution. Wissem holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Law from Tunis and a Masters in Administration. He also received trainings on sustainable development, anti-corruption, and bilateral investment treaties. At NRGI, he is supporting the implementation of NRGI’s engagement in Tunisia by providing capacity development, technical assistance and project management support to the program sector. He is focusing mainly on official stakeholders (government and parliament).

Ye Thein Oo is the Coordinator of Myanmar-China Pipeline Watch Committee (MCPWC) since 2014. He is also a National Steering Committee member of Myanmar Alliance for Transparency and Accountability (MATA). Prior to his role at MCPWC, he was a farmer producing chili, banana, and sunflower (2003-2007) and merchant of rice and oil (2007). He has experienced in NGO for more than ten years. He obtain Economic education at Distance Education University Mandalay (2003) and various training course from CSOs such as Human right and Citizenship (2012); Human right , Environmental , Land law (MCPWC, 2013); EITI Standard (NRGI & MATA, 2014); Community Health Impact Assessment (MCPWC, 2014); and Research Training on Social Accountability (MCPWC,2015)

Yoga mainly has dealt with analysis of regulation and dealing with government project, which is concern in Regulatory Reform. By making a concept of national strategic planning on regulatory policy and technical support in engaging the policy from early process into a national strategic plan document. This strategic policy also support in other area by improving the capacity of policy maker (planner) and regulatory maker (legal drafter). He actively involves in government national strategy on prevention and corruption eradication, which support ministry and local government to formulate prevention and corruption eradication planning, and action. Yoga holds Degree of Law from University of Jenderal Soedirman (UNSOED) , Purwokerto, Indonesia.

Zaw Than Htaik serves as a Research Director, Public Relations and International Relations, Department of the House of Nationalities (Upper House). He is responsible to publish the Research Briefing, to answer the Confidential Enquires, which Members of Parliament want to know and to control all the ICT works of the Parliament. Related his duty, he went to the European Parliament, Parliament of New South Wale and Parliament of Victoria for study visit in 2014.

He holds bachelor of Physic from Yangon University and Diploma in Computer Science (1997 to 1999). He has served as military officer in Military Services (1992) and appointed to the General Staff Officer (Grade one). In 2012, he was selected to participate in the House of Nationalities (Upper House) as a Member of Parliament. In 2014, he got the pension from Military Services.
