Previuously working for Creative Commons Indonesia (CCID), an Indonesian affiliate of Creative Commons (CC) to support the use of CC licenses as copyright policy for digital works. Part of CC global network in seventy two countries.
Rizky is as Program Manager for Openness and Extractive Governance at PWYP Indonesia. She also leads a project on the coal trading governance aiming to identify the loophole in the coal trading mechanism and assist a project on the land-based mining governance improvement, with focuses on the improvement of mining licensing and environmental rehabilitation. Additionally, Rizky is responsible for the financial modelling project in the Asia Pacific region as a continuation of her participation in the financial modelling workshop conducted by Open Oil, a Berlin-based consultative agency on open data and extractive sector. Her role in PWYP Indonesia is not limited to project management, but also includes network management and knowledge product development.
Sobirin graduated from Gadjah Mada University in 2008 and then immediately involved in the work of the Desantara Foundation, an Indonesian non-government organization based in Jakarta. His career as an activist begun when he was doing action research in natural resources conflict between a cement factory and local community in Pati, Central Java. He lived there for four years to dig in many aspects of scientific, moral and philosophical questions on the case of cement factory development plan in North Kendeng Hills. This experience gave him an insight that the local community welfare is not as simple as building a factory. This helps him to understand the complex networks between the life story of community, capital and politization of scientific research.
Sunandar serves as the Head of Sub Directorate for Oil and Gas for more than five years. He is responsible to make planning, monitoring, evaluation, and policy assessment related on national oil and gas sector development. Prior to this assignment, he was a member of working group for the connectivity of Masterplan for Acceleration and Expansion of Indonesia’s Economic Development (MP3EI) connectivity. He holds master of Planning and Public Policy from Universitas Indonesia.
Active in Indonesian Forum for Environment (WALHI) Yogyakarta since 2003. Now he is a regional board of Walhi that responsible to supervise, monitor and evaluate program. He did some researches in mining topic on 2005 (Environmental Impact Assessment of PT Margola Mining, Magelang, Central Java Province, WALHI Yogyakarta -LBH Yogya)and 2010 (Environmental Impact Assessment of Pig Iron Mining, Kulonprogo, Yogyakarta Province, WALHI Yogyakarta; Environmental Impact Assessment of Gold Mining, Pacitan, East Java, WALHI Yogyakarta).
She worked in World Vision for 5 years as a customer services coordinator in sponsorship project. Worked in World Concern for 3 years as a Program Coordinator for Integrated Development Project. Since six years ago worked at Paung Ku for six years as a Senior Program Coordinator for Strengthening Civil society Initiatives program.
Tenti Kurniawati, coordinator department of governance budget for the fulfillment of ecosoc right IDEA Association (January 2013 –present). Responsibilities: Develop, navigate and supervision the program to
improve local planning and budgeting process with a gender perspective, and poverty reduction; Develop,navigate and supervision the program to improve social community participatory monitoring with social audit isntrument, budget tracking istrumen, citizen report card instrument; Develop, navigate and supervision the program to improve transparency and accountability of revenue and spending from mining.
Thomas Rapak works at JPIC SVD Ruteng since 2013. SVD JPIC is an integral part of the mission of universal Society Verbi Divine (SVD). JPIC is a commission to coordinate and carry out the mission of the SVD, such as policy in the field of Environment, Forestry and Mining; education and training Law and human right; as well as economic empowerment and social development.
Prior to his role at JPIC, Thomas served as a teacher at SMAK Syuradikara Ende (2007-2008). He worked also as a Pastoral agent in the catholic church, parish of St. Arnold Janssen Tambolaka, Sumba and worked in cooperation of Lembu Nai Manggarai (2012-2013).
Thomas graduated from catholic Institute of Philosophy Ledalero, Maumere (2007) and holds Master of Theology from the same Institute (2011). He concerns on social and cultural problem as well as environmental problem, markedly ecological crisis due to human life style. He actively involves in campaign to save the environment. He believes that save our live will save the world.

Tommy Apriando works as journalist in the online media Mongabay Indonesia for three years. He concerns on environmental issue. He has written many articles to show the excessive social and environmental impacts of mining to the local people. He also serves as a volunteer at The Commission for “the Disappeared” and Victims of Violence (Kontras) in Jakarta.
Yesi Maryam graduated from University of Indonesia majoring in Political Science. Before joining the IESR, she had been working as the communication officer for several community development programs, such as
Kecamatan Development Program (KDP), Australia Indonesia Basic Education Program (AIBEP) and Community-based Solid Waste Management Program. Yesi has put her interests in developing community
media-especially in grass root level- and joined with Yakoma PGI as the freelance facilitator in developing community video. She’s also a member of social network community in improving the quality of environment in Jakarta. During 2009-2011 She was taking a master degree for communication management in Trisakti University Jakarta, yet never complete this degree. She’s a single friendly aunt of two nieces and nephews. She likes travelling, movies and meeting with authentic peoples.

Yoga mainly has dealt with analysis of regulation and dealing with government project, which is concern in Regulatory Reform. By making a concept of national strategic planning on regulatory policy and technical support in engaging the policy from early process into a national strategic plan document. This strategic policy also support in other area by improving the capacity of policy maker (planner) and regulatory maker (legal drafter). He actively involves in government national strategy on prevention and corruption eradication, which support ministry and local government to formulate prevention and corruption eradication planning, and action. Yoga holds Degree of Law from University of Jenderal Soedirman (UNSOED) , Purwokerto, Indonesia.
