Hening is a junior researcher at RegINA-PolGov. She holds bachelor degrees from Department of Politics and Government, Universitas Gadjah Mada. She involves in vibrant youth movement for anti-corruption. Her prior works served as research assistant at Center for Economic Democracy Study, Universitas Gadjah Mada (2012-2013). She is presently deepening her capabilities on researches, focusing on citizenship in resource rich area, particularly in Manggarai, East Nusa Tenggara Province, Indonesia.

Herimanto works for justice, peace, and integrity (JPID) that is creation of SVDs Ruteng since 2013. He serves as a field coordinator of Central Manggarai. He concerns to raise advocation for the peoples in the circle of mining to get better life and condition. He also actively involves in the local movement to promote sustainable environment and lifelihood. He holds degree from STFK Ledalero Maumere, East Nusa Tenggara.

Irhash Ahmady, called Irhaz, joined with Walhi National in 2010.  He is very active to campaign ecological disaster amid mainstream issues natural disasters and conduct research especially in extractive industries topics. His writing has been published in various media as well as a book entitled “Java Collapse, From Daendels into the Mud Lapindo (2012). This book as a guide to advocade based about the current crisis especially in Java Island. As the Manager Knowledge Management, he is very active build discourse advocacy movement environment through publication journal and other publications. He actively involved in various international meeting on the issue on sustainable development and renewable energy.

Irhaz graduated from Padjadjaran University in 2006. He has worked for social and politic issues particularly food and energy. He was a founders of students organizations “National Student Front”. He has involved in advocacy of Jatigede big dam and the development agenda in West Java and campaigns national policy issues such as agrarian reform. At the end the lecture, he joined Walhi West Java as volunteer and the staff campaigns and advocacy.

Mining Program Director of Persekutuan Diakonia Pelangi Kasih (PDPK), has been active in PDPK for 7 years. Joined some training related to mining since 2009 (Design and Research of Mining Investigation 2009, Mining Strategy Mining-2009, and Training of Mining Tailing-2012)

Kanti is an associate researcher in Article 33 Indonesia, a non-government organization based in Jakarta. She studied materials science and engineering at Kyoto University, but also exposed to climate change issues during college. She previously worked as program officer at the Habibie Center, supporting research on democratization, local autonomy, dissemination of technology, and media literacy campaign. Since joining A33, she assisted a scoping study on including forestry sector revenues in the EITI–Indonesia system. Then she conducted a series of research on extractive industries revenue administration and transparency, royalties and divestment policy, coal trade value chain. Her publication with other researchers includes the book entitle “Mine, Forest, and Plantation: Governance of Licensing and State Revenue in Land-Based Sectors”.

Lengga works as part of the Human Ecology team in the Research Center for Population at the Indonesian Institute of Sciences (LIPI). For three consecutive years (2015-2017), she actively involved in natural resources governance research. This year, her team is conducting a research that is focused on tin mining and its impact to community and environment in Belitung. She has an exposure to some crucial issues such as gender and development and food security through several short courses abroad. She holds a bachelor degree in International Law and a master of science majoring in natural resource management.

Lora is a junior consultant at the Ministry of National Development Planning, Indonesia. She has been working for more than 7 years in this organization. Her main responsibility is to assist the public officials at the ministry to perform their duties. She has an interest in the governance of extractive industries particularly in the area of finance and budget coordination and the regulatory simplification at the government annual  workplan in 2017. She is also involves in the preparation of the regulatory framework for government workplan 2018 and cost-benefit analysis (CBA) for regulatory reforms. Lora holds a bachelor degree in international law.

Ya’kub is PhD (Candidate) in Anglia Ruskin University, United Kingdom in the major study of International Law of Resource Nationalism. He is a lecture in International Law at Faculty of Law Syiah Kuala University-Aceh. He has been working on humanitarian issues post tsunami 2004 in Aceh, then teaching international law and conducting research on natural resources governance in relation to laws and policies in Indonesia for the last four years. He is enthusiast in the recent development issues on sharing power between central and Aceh Government in upstream oil and gas (Badan Pengelola Migas Aceh/BPMA) under UUPA 11/2006; thereby this issue encouraged him to found the research center of natural resources in Syiah Kuala University.

Anshori has more than five years experience in local democracy and gender budgeting issues. He based in Jombang, East Java province. He also actively on GusDurian network which has concern on interfaith issues in Indonesia.

She has concern on several issues as follow good governance in Natural Resource Management, Civil Society Networking and Advocacy both in national and regional level, Southeast Asia related issues, energy Security and stakeholder mapping and analysis.

She actives in anti-corruption movement and has written several publication related to Extractive Industry.

Since March 2013 working at ICEL as researcher assistant and has concern on Promoting Right to Information, Conducted research on various environmental issues such as Environmental Impact Assesment, environmental permit, etc

Nurwachid is a staff at the Coordinating Ministry for Economic Affairs. He has the tasks to collect data for policy making in mineral and coal sectors. His responsibilities are analyzing and presenting the data as well as writing a report for the minister. A part of his assignment, he supports the Indonesia EITI Secretariat in preparing the annual report and instrumental in compiling Roadmap of Beneficial Ownerships. He has graduated from Geological Engineering in Universitas Gadjah Mada. He joined the ministry in 2014 and serves as the officer at the energy and mineral resources sectors. He has taken apart in ”7^th EITI Global Conference” in Peru and “2016 OGP Asia Pacific Regional Dialogue” in the Philippines.  

Raras is currently working on a research project related to reform in Indonesian oil and gas sector under the supervision of IDeA. This research aims to document reform that is taking place particularly in the oil and gas sub-sector in the country. Previously, she was a journalist with The Jakarta Post. She spent years covering various issues, particularly the energy and mining sector. She holds bachelor degree in International Relations from Universitas Gadjah Mada.

Rendy teaches at the Bangka Belitung University but primarily work as the executive secretary of The Ilalang Institute, a non-government organization based in Bangka. His main responsibility in the organization is leading the implementation of several projects such as research, public discussion, public school, seminar. Furthermore, he is also responsible to establish and maintain a network with other stakeholders from the government, university, parliament, political party, activist, and the non-government organizations in Bangka. The mission of his organization is to increase public awareness and taking into account concerns of all stakeholders with regard to the mining governance in Bangka. Rendy holds a master of arts from the Gadjah Mada University. Now, he is also active as a member of board for education representative- Babel Islands Province for 2014-2019 period.
